This "thing" was flashing colors, and every few often the horizon line would glow, this "thing" went from dropping straight down to doing loops to flying acrost the sky very fast, it was almost as if it was searching for something. I am a firefighter and I haven't seen anything like it, I also had to look towards Stl. to see it. Following the sphere type light on lower Burnsmill Road at least ten deer were on the road way in front of me that I nearly hit.
