The report, as filed
My condo is right on the beach. From my window I can see out in to the ocean and the brightly lit loading docs just east of the Queen Mary. Last night, approx 9:20pm PST, I was watching TV and noticed a bright orange circle from my window, moving towards me just above those loading docs. I looked closely to see if there were any flashing red or white safety lights (like normal man-made airplane) but it was just a solid orange light with somewhat of a fog around it.. (note the night sky was crystal clear a few minutes earlier).. and it was approaching me fast! I grabbed my phone and BOLTED downstairs to the end of street (which sits right on the sand) to get a video. By the time I got there, what was once just hundreds of feet away was now thousands of feet up and same altitude as other airplanes (which you could differentiate by the flashing white and red safety lights). The bright orange light continued to to move southeast and vertical *extremely* fast towards the stars until it shifted direction, dropped down super fast then faded away. I captured the whole incident on video.. It's very obvious no man made craft can move that fast. Video submitted to ufocntr@nwlink.com. 5 objects total, 3 went into a triangle and all faded. Not helicopter, drone or plane as this was above LGB flight path.

Before the video starts it had a bright red and blue trail , which you don’t see anymore throughout the video. [NUFORC annotation: Rocket - Probable]

At 2:33 am pst, as i was going to my bathroom on the second floor, i looked out my window saw a ( fire ball ) with trailing red and orange flames moving from WNW to SE. I thought it might be an aircraft with flaming engine or maybe some kind of space junk, i estimated my sight was 45 degrees horizontal plane. This object was moving in a horizontal direction for about 11/2 minutes before the flames went out. After the flames went out there was a small bright dot with a faint glow behind it that continue for 3-5 minutes moving SE. But after this, a lower orange ball of light appeared well below about 10 degrees horizontal plane, that appeared to circle for 30 seconds and disappeared.

Moved fast, not in a straight line. Was over my backyard for about 20 minutes before it started moving forward. Very very strange. I’m not sure if these pictures or videos uploaded correctly

It was nearing sunset and the moon was nearly full and out in the sky. I saw a cylinder shaped craft cross in front of the moon and travel south towards Seal Beach, California…until it disappeared into the midair. There were no clouds in the sky. It was moving very slow. It had no lights flashing on it. It had no sound. It had a shadow on the bottom and was very shiny on top. It was right above Long Beach Harbour in, Long Beach, California.

For initial description, please see the pictures. There is also an impressive red light activity around this UFO seen on the video I took of the sightseeing ( it’s 2 min and 45 sec long ) but which I am unfortunately unable to download on your site ( it’s a video using my IPhone ). However, I can certainly send it to you via email, should you find, from the pictures I downloaded that they appear to be potential UFO material.
