Triangle over New Blaine, AR

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

The object passed overhead while I was driving east on Hwy 22. Object was traveling north to south at a slow rate of speed. Estimated height of 500 feet. Object had 3 equally spaced white lights that formed a triangle with equal sides with a blue/green light in the center that was not flashing. Groups of 3-4 C130 aircraft frequently fly a similar route, but they always have navigation lights flashing when I have seen them after dark. This object did not appear to be a solo aircraft, and the lighting was not what I typically see on the C130 aircraft.

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #125107). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
