Le 13 décembre 2015 aux environs de 23h30 un témoin observe dans le ciel nocturne un point lumineux stationnaire : il clignote de plusieurs couleurs (rouge jaune, vert, bleu). Ce point à très haute altitude lui semble trop lumineux pour être un satellite. Il filme le phénomène. Sa femme observera également le PAN. Le témoin décide d'arrêter l'observation. Un seul témoignage sera recueilli sur ce phénomène. Le témoin a observé et filmé l’étoile Sirius, dans des conditions exceptionnelles et propices à générer une forte scintillation (voir la synthèse d'enquête). Cette analyse a été réalisée à l’aide du logiciel spécialisé du CNES/GEIPAN : IPACO. Le GEIPAN classe cette observation en "A" : méprise astronomique. [GEIPAN classification A — Sirius (étoile)]
