Unknown over Xenia, OH

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

I watched the object for approxiametley 10 minutes as it fell. Right before dropping below the skyline, another streak burst from right to left right before it disappeared before the skyline. They looked almost close enough to collide within a minute of each other. I might have believed it a jet or plane, or Chen trails but the rate at which it was falling was not conducive to either scenarios. Even a downed plane would have fallen quicker. First experience with something like this. Will have to start looking up more. Eyes to the skys. Perhaps the streak going horizontal was a jet fighter.

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #124074). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

12 orange red objects heading east coming from the direction of columbus ohio. All 12 objects made no noise and were in 4 sets of 3 orange circular cone shaped glowing lights. They all started low before going above cloud cover. The objects were all evenly spaced out heading in the same direction. Me and the guys i was with have never seen anything like them. At first i thought it was the glow of a tail off a rocket but it just doesnt seem right why would 12 rockets be so low shooting across the sky.

Was in my work vehicle heading south on us-42 when I noticed a silver object in the sky that appeared to resemble an airplane. I then paid no attention to it until I was on the exit ramp from 42 to u.s. 35 East. I glanced up at it and examined it a little further, I then noticed it hadn't moved anywhere for at least 30 seconds. Upon further examination I noticed that I could see the nose of the object it was not conical it was round. I then noticed that the area at the rear of the object was not tail shaped but had a black point that protruded in the opposite direction of the nose. The sky was extremely clear at this moment I could see no other objects in the vicinity for referencpe. This craft or object was at approximately 5000 feet altitude. The object did not move if it did move then it moves slowly in relation to my vehicle traveling 65 miles per hour. Unlike the speed of an airplane which exceeds the speed of a vehicle when the perspective is from the ! vehicle. About a half mile down from the exit on 35, I then exited off the highway onto lower bellbrook road. At this time I was not in sight of the object and was anxious to get around the curve of the exit ramp so that I could get another look at it by then I was pulling my phone out to take a picture. Once I came to a stop sign I glanced back up in the sky where the object had been and it was no longer there. It being an extremely clear sky I looked and looked for the object again. There was absolutely nothing in the sky any longer. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

A light the had a consistent blink and a consistent downward trajectory that disappeared at our horizon. It was moving very fast. Much faster than any satellite. We thought it was a meteor but noticed the consistent blinking. Crazy.. it was to our East.

Saw orange light keep flying North to South thru my window. Went outside to observe what it was, there was no sound coming from it, it stopped moving and I took a picture of it and then it vanished. When you enlarge the photo it shows a round disc with a cylinder attached to a smaller disc. The whole thing glows orange.

I am a person who has seen, countless UFO sightings over the years, and am curious if anyone happened to have seen the extremely large wedge shaped object that flew over Xenia Ohio, back in October 7, same night as the moon was said to have been seen larger than usual, due to its closeness to the earth at that point. I can state it's merely 1 over well over 100 ufo sightings I've had throughout the years. and felt I should ask if it'd been seen by others. That object I can not see how anyone could miss cause it was slow flying and nearly the size of the moon was in the sky. orange in coloration. This thing was just massive. It countinued over the city until it disppeared slowly above some clouds.

I was sitting on the back of my friend’s truck just talking when we saw a glowing orange ball of light directly above us heading south west. This object was traveling very quickly and moving in an erratic pattern. It was almost as if it was vibrating quite viciously. It continued to travel south west and would look as if it was slowing and speeding up. The ball of light also started to dim a little as it traveled. Once the object was about 35 degrees from the horizon, it slowed very rapidly and stopped completely. It then started to dim at a more rapid pace as if it was moving away and then suddenly disappeared. We initially thought that it may be an airplane or a shooting star or a meteor but I’ve never seen any of those move in a pattern as this light was and then miraculously just stop for around 30 – 45 seconds. We also thought about maybe a cloud got in the way but the sky was completely clear.
