The report, as filed
I saw a small flash of white light in my peripheral. I looked up saw a tiny faint white light slowly moving directly east. Similar to watching a satellite straying across the sky. Object flashed a brilliant white light 3 more times, each about 5 seconds in between. Note a small/faint meteorite streaked across same vicinity of object moving south during event. Object became to faint to see, so I used the Sky Guide app on my phone to see if it was a satellite, to which I couldn't find any. Position of the object was in between Andromeda galaxy and a star named Mirach.

Son was first to see out of atmospheric kind of cigar shape craft moving approximately fast enough to circle earth every 6 minutes. Visible energy wave around object with possible plume emitting behind object, not following but propelling. All the dogs were barking across town. Big arc relative to curvature of the world

While walking my dogs, I (for a second time in 8 months), saw a bright light in the sky. Months ago I saw it Northwest of Herington and tonight the same type of light was observed SouthEast of Herington (opposite side of town). It is decently far away (not close) and at approximately 45-50 degree angle upward from my point of view. The sky was very clear with close to a full moon. Temperature was chilly (40*) with a slight breeze. The light, observed via eye and through field glasses, flashed white with reddish and blue hues. It did not travel and hovered in place. There was no observable sound(s). I am familiar with helicopter aircraft, both military and civilian, which I am sure it is neither.
