Cigar over El Soreno, CA
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
What appeared to be a large sized drone (not large enough to encapsulate humans) was seen flying around in loops over the Lincoln Heights/El Soreno area. It sounded electric, as it just wasn't loud enough to be a normal helicopter or something else. I believe their were actually two propellers, one on each end of the cigar shaped object. It had two white lights (also on the ends) and one flashing red light. I wasn't aware of LAPD or local law enforcement using these drones but it was large enough that it had to have been some sort of surveillance drone. It was almost definitely not a civilian drone for size reasons alone. It was kinda weird, couldn't find anything else about these in the area by Google search and I found this so thought I'd submit a report. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #121961). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
