As reported

Fireball over Gulf shores, AL

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

My husband and I were sitting on the beach enjoying our getaway when he tells me in a calm yet strange way to look to my right (west)...there were anywhere from ten to fifteen unknown objects ascending..at first, I was trying to be logic about the situation until one by one they started to dim out until there were only about 3 left..at this point they began to appear perfectly triangular. .speechless doesn't describe my feelings go and I'm still in shock. They then began to slowly dim out and totally disappear. No sound at all.

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #122755). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
