The report, as filed
I had just got back from my local 24 hour gym and parked my car in front of my house, when I saw a strange looking object flying over what would be Warwick, and then Cranston, RI. This object was emitting red and blue lights pulsating lights, not the standard red and green lights you would see on a helicopter or airplane. This immediately caught my attention since I'm an Airline Pilot, and knew that blue lights should not be on an airplane. I got out of my car to watch this thing and it started to move really fast and at 90 angles. Too fast to be a helicopter because I estimated it moved from atop of Cranston to over Narragansett Bay in less than 10 seconds. Too fast for a helicopter. But then it stopped in Mid Air and started moving down vertically for a landing somewhere over the water of Narragansett Bay. Something that an airplane can't do either. I took a pic of it but I'm afraid it looks like just another airplane because of the quality of my camera phone, and the distance from the object. I had to have been 10 miles or more from this object the entire time. I'm still submitting a pic to the site to give a frame of reference. I also made an attempt to video tape the object. but a street light got in the way, and the object was in the process of landing vertically out of sight, before I could get the frame in focus. NUFORCC Note: We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he sounded to us to be quite serious-minded and objective, in his description of the event. We suspect that he is an excellent witness, in all respects. PD

Outside on the back porch at night when I saw something in the sky. Object was circular with red panels on the bottom that looked like lights but not lit up. Flying low. Very low humming sound. It took off so fast, like a flash of light and vanished. Too stealthy to be a drone.

I looked out my window abnormal saw a low lying amber bright light, the appearance of foil. Airplanes were noticeable in the area. The light almost shimmered but did not move. I asked my husband to look at it and to ask what he thought it was. He also had no idea. Without moving, only shimmering the light disappeared. I have no idea what that was, but I feel very uneasy. It was not necessarily airplane. It was low, large and bright with no sound. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Saw a bright green light fly through the sky at very high speeds at 8:00 pm. It lasted for 1-2 seconds and was gone. Did not look like it was burning. Looked more like it was being powered to create the bright almost LED green.

3 shimmering, constant yellow lights moving across the sky, changing configuration as they flew. One broke off left and up and flew out of sight, while the other 2 continued.

I was driving with four people in my car when my passenger and myself saw a flash of life, much like a streetlight moving in a zig zag pattern across the sky. Only two of us saw it, we logically tried to think of anything that it could have been, especially living close to an airport. But nothing I could think of could have made a "Z" pattern in the sky and disappear so quickly.
