The report, as filed
For the past two years, I have been witnessing a small orb of light which looks to be like burning embers that gently float across the sky but disappears, when i try to drive closer to it. Happens at about the same time at night maybe 30 minutes after the sun has set. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. We suspect that the witness implies a nighttime sighting, and we have amended the time above. PD

I'm a truck driver and had just got off work at 11:30 mountain time. I was walking to my vehicle when I looked up into the crystal clear sky and saw two very deep orange balls of light in the sky. They both looked to be high up in altitude and in fixed positions not moving. One was high up in the sky and one was down closer to the horizon. I watched them for about 40 seconds then the lower orange ball went from a complete stand still to zipping all the way across the sky horizontally till it disappeared within 3 seconds. 10 seconds later, the orange light ball that was higher up in the sky faded and disappeared.

Went outside around 8 pm and caught something moving in the distant with my eyes. It was a very bright red light moving from almost ground level to directly above my head. That was when it disappeared. It moved roughly half of the sky in the three seconds.
