star gazing on rook deck in Nantucket. Saw three very bright white pulses about 5 seconds apart viewing between the two stars that make up the handle of the Big Dipper. Object appeared to be very high (outside of our atmosphere) and simply fanished

I didn’t see the object while filming. I discovered it after I got home when I began to zoom in on some of the video I shot while riding. I was shocked to see an object in this one video. It almost seems like a more advanced drone, surveying the road ways of the island, perhaps mapping things out? I think paused the video and I was able to manually scroll through it and capture 3 still shots which I’ll include as well. It would be awesome if you guys could slow down the speed of the video so we can better see what this might be?!?

Walking along Old South rd toward the airport, we saw the lights seemingly approaching the island from the south eastern sky. They were randomly scattered in close proximity to each other moving at the same speed. After a moment or so one sped up unnaturally ahead of the rest and slowed suddenly to its original speed. One by one they slowly circled back south and blacked out. I called the Nantucket atc control tower and the controller on duty claimed to see them as well as an aircraft that had just taken off in the direction of the lights. He told me that there was nothing on his radar and also queried the aircraft which reported them at an unknown distance.

Was lying on my back on a bench at the Oldest House, looking at the clear, blue sky through polarized sun glasses, seeing 4-5 jets/planes passing high overhead on a roughly southwest-to-northeast flight path. They were well lit by the late afternoon sun, and appeared white against the blue sky. After the planes had passed, I noticed a round object, about 1/4 the apparent size of the planes, with variable brightness and with color flickering from bright orange, to white, traveling at what appeared to be a similar height, speed and trajectory. I thought it might be a rotating, non-uniform metallic balloon intermittently reflecting the sunlight, but the velocity appeared to be similar to the jets and it seemed to be traveling horizontally, not vertically. Ground wind speed at that time was roughly 17 mph from the SW. Gradually the distance became too great and it faded into the northeast horizon, as the jets had, after about 3 min.

Took a picture of the clouds looking north, at a 60° angle. After I took the picture, I zoomed in and could see the UFO to the top left. When I took the picture with my iPhone 6, I had it on live photo. So when you press and hold the picture it moves for about a second. So I pressed the picture and held it and could see the UFO move and disappear. So I blew the picture up three times and could see the UFO.

Around 8pm on September 14, 2014, an adult female (34 years old) and an adult male (44 years old) were traveling west on Polpis road on Nantucket Island, when they saw a red light high in the sky above them. It was approximately 51 degrees this night, clear to partly cloudy skies. The female passenger noticed it first and after watching it for a few seconds alerted the male driver. They agreed it appeared either still or slow moving. When the 44 year old male driver pulled off the road, so he and the female passenger could get out of the vehicle and take a closer look, it was gone. Both witnesses are residents of Nantucket Island with college degrees, and neither had been drinking or taken any drugs on September 14, 2014. The female passenger is employed full time as an Assitant Teacher in a child development center.
