I live on a pond, the area this occurred is an open area in my backyard surrounded by trees. I would also like to mention that last month in the a.m., I noticed a very bright green circle 12' in diameter in the lawn in my backyard - it was as if I had over-fertilized the lawn - I DID NOT FERTILIZE... it has since disappeared. We spoke with the witness, and she sounded to us to be quite sincere, and sober-minded. We have requested more details about both events, and anticipate longer reports will be submitted in the near future. PD

At approximately 21:30, I pulled off the road into the parking lot of a small gas station to tighten the lug nuts on a tire that had been changed earlier in the day. I happened to see what appeared to be a triangle shaped craft hovering in the sky. At first, I didn't think much of it because I was focused on tightening the lugs on my tire. As I finished doing that I looked up at the craft in the sky again and it quickly and quietly flew out of sight almost instantaneously. That's what caught my attention and prompted me to grab my cell phone and begin recording. As I was recording, it dawned on me that I have not seen any aircraft that shape or with lights set up the way they were on this particular craft. As can be seen in the video, the craft hovers in the sky before disappearing completely without flying away. The craft was completely quiet and the only sound in the video is from other motorists passing by, my truck idling, & my breathing. After the craft appeared to vanish into thin air I was a bit spooked so I abruptly stopped recording and hopped in my truck & headed for home as quickly as I could. I drive by that gas station nearly every night between 21:00 - 2300 as I am a night owl and often go for a ride at night time yet I have not seen that kind of craft again since that night.
