Le témoin observe chaque soir (sans préciser depuis combien de temps) à partir de 21h45 un point lumineux, bientôt suivi d'un second, moins lumineux. Ces points évoluent lentement ensemble et disparaissent cachés par le paysage. L'observation longue et répétée de points lumineux dans le ciel fait évidemment penser à un banal phénomène astronomique : étoiles ou planètes. Une vérification avec une carte du ciel indique effectivement Vénus et Jupiter exactement dans l'axe d'observation du témoin. Il est regrettable que le témoin, pourtant de haut niveau d'étude universitaire, n'ait pas pensé tout seul à un phénomène astronomique ; il a été visiblement trop influencé par les émissions TV sur la question des OVNIs.
