The report, as filed
Awakened by an extremely loud noise. Sounded like a jet airplane was slowly crashing into my house. Went to back deck, looked up. In the air saw three white lights and one red light. What appeared to be a search light beam shining horizontally into the night sky. VERY LOUD, noise filled the entire neighborhood. Like nothing I've ever heard before. Did not sound like a helicopter. For the first four minutes of sighting, it hung suspended in the air about 1000 feet up, perfectly still. Then moved very, very slowly directly overhead. A crescent shaped body of the craft appeared to reflect off the four lights. It slowly moved west, circled back and flew directly overhead again, a little higher up and a little faster, then flew west again and disappeared.
