The report, as filed
Saw moving orange glowing (fireball type) heading south to north. Duration was about one minute for movement before disappearance. Fireball was not on fire, but orange glowing ball that was pulsing. Moved north bound then faded out immediately. Not a plane, not blinking aircraft lights. Orange ball was much larger than plane lights. Not a fire lantern, no fire and moving much faster than a fire lantern.

I didn't know where to report this but I just say a bright orange globe, about 7-8 feet in length, go across the sky from south to North, traveling 3-5 miles a secondand then slowed down and stopped in front of a church in the middle of this park area in Swansea, IL. When it was in front of the church to the left side of me about 100 yards away, the orange glow it had been letting off vanished, but I could see the black dark sphere hovering about 10 feet from the ground. I was driving in my car about 20 mph through the park at this time. But as it was in front of the church on the side of me I got some crazy chills, didn't bother looking again at it, and drove faster down the road. Faster than the speed limit at that point. This all happened between 8:28pm- 8:35pm CT 9/6/2015
