Sky Watchers, Hello, my name is ((male's name deleted)). On Saturday morning May 2nd, 2015, while on my way to see a friend near Soddy Daisy, TN, in Hamilton County. While driving on Sequoyah Access Road at approximately 9:25 – 9:26 A.M. E.S.T. an object flying at an extremely high speed flew from behind my right shoulder position past me going due south. The object I’m estimating was approximately at an altitude of 5000 Ft AGL, it clearly wasn’t at any course altitude that typically commercial airliners often fly; 25,000 to 38,000 feet, nor was it just a few hundred feet above the tree tops that military fighter jets fly during booming training flights. The weather was beautiful with a clear blue sky, and the air temperature was cool, around 45–50 degrees. Other words, no fog or smog was in my field of view. The sun was bright, but not in view of my vision as I was driving in a southerly direction on this slightly curvy road which does change directions. The sun was to my left, but not high enough in the sky to be seen at that point above the tree tops. However, since there were no reference points in the sky and no way of knowing the size of this object, the altitude of 5000 feet AGL is truly an estimate. But please keep in mind it was very clear to see even though this event happened extremely fast. In fact, I had to process in my mind what I was seeing very fast. My first thought was a day time meteor sighting, but this had no burning trail behind it and the object looked to be silver in color. My next thought that went racing through my mind it was a section of the Russian space rocket that failed and was falling to earth or some other space craft. I thought, oh God this is going to crash in Georgia or Alabama and could kill someone. But, no burning trail, no smoke, no fire! My next and final thought was I had just seen either a super secret space craft from our government or some other government or a UFO not from this planet. I don’t know what I saw, but wh! atever it was, it was real! It was silver in color or it look! ed silver because the sun ray’s was hitting it. It flew across the sky at an extremely high speed. My view time was 1.6 to 2.0 seconds. It looked to be either a; Disk, Sphere, or maybe even a SUV shape object. From approximately 5000 feet away, and with my angle from the earth to the object in the sky, and at that extreme speed, I truly don’t know what shape it was. On Saturday May 2nd, 2015; I did watch the evening Chattanooga and national news, I heard no mention of any falling objects from space. On Tuesday morning; May 5th,2015 I revisited this area along the road I traveled Saturday morning May 2nd, 2015, and took photos of my sight of view and timed the event as best as I could envision the event as it happened. I worked from 1986 – 2001 as a Motions, Methods, Time Study Analyst. I’ve had a life long interest in aviation and model aviation. Currently, I work in insurance. I’m licensed in Tennessee as a Health, Life, Accident Agent and a Crop Insurance Loss Adjuster. Would the FAA release any radar data for that morning in the Chattanooga area to you? If others living in south east Tennessee or northern Georgia seen this object, I hope they too will report their sighting. Be it from plant earth or beyond. It was real!!! It was there!!!
