Fireball over Baltimore, MD

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

Reluctantly I took him out the back and over to Patterson Park. It was a crystal clear night, very pleasant weather and only 1 or 2 other dog walkers out. As we rounded the Pagoda on the home leg of our walk I was looking south and could clearly see the constellation Orion just off to the SSW. I remember saying to myself, "So clear, I’ll bet I can see Taurus (my Zodiacal sign)." Started to swing my head to the west and out of the corner of my eye, approaching from the south, I saw something I cannot explain. At least 9 amber/orange lights in formation and 3 or 4 more lights not in formation, meandering around the formation, were rapidly moving across the sky from almost due south to due north. I was dumbfounded. I observed this for about 15-20 seconds. The formation consisted of 3 v-shaped flights in a chevron that was rock solid, all flew in unison. The meanderers seemed to circle and wander around the solid chevron as they tore across the sky at incredible speed. Flabbergasted, I muttered a few expletives. Trying to get a grip on myself I struggled to get my phone out but just as it cleared my jacket pocket the phenomenon disappeared over the horizon to the north. I looked around to see if anyone else in the park saw this. There was nobody around except Gadget who, sensing my astonishment, looked at me with concern as if to say, “What’s up with you, ((name deleteed))? Why so frantic?” Completely blown away we stood there for a few moments. I Goggled the number and called in the report to UFOReports.com right there from the park. Bewildered we walked home and I made an online report of the sighting. I tried to explain it to myself most of the rest of the night. Was it reflections of street lights off my glasses? Their color was similar to sodium vapor street lighting. No I surmised. I had to swivel my head from south to north to track the lights and they never wavered in their flight path. Arrow straight the formation flew, no wavering or smearing you would expect if it was a reflection. Space junk? Maybe, but the formation was so solid the flight appeared to be on an intentional course. And to have 9 lights in solid formation and 3 or for in a seemingly random formation is a mix of trajectories and not likely to be a single object that broke up on reentry. Such junk would all follow the same path and would leave a trail of some sort. There was no flaming trail. Aircraft? I've never seen anything move that fast in the atmosphere. I've seen satellites, the ISS, Skylab, these moved just as fast if not faster across the sky. The meandering lights also seemed to take a non-ballistic course and moved in ways no aircraft I know of could reproduce. So, there you have it. The source of this report appeared on the Jeff Rense Radio Program on March 13, 2015, in order to describe his sighting. He also submitted a report about his sighting in Tehran, Iran, in September 1976. At the request of this witness, a colleague of his submitted a second report for that same sighting. They both witnessed the same event, from different vantage points, in Tehran. PD

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

Between 2:14.53 and 2:42.51 AM an image appears in front of my house in the night sky. It is initially faint in appearance but gradually gets clearer. It fades again but appears sharper at the end of the first 46 second video. In the second video, 2:42.51 AM; the image/object appears to stretch out and separate.

I returned home around 2:30 am & in my window saw 1 aircraft that I assumed was a plane. I watched it for several minutes & when it continued blinking colors I grabbed my binoculars & saw that it was not a plane. It had stopped moving when another craft appeared near it. I woke my partner up & we ended counting 3 crafts near, but not next, to each other. They were amongst/hidden by clouds for a couple minutes, however, you would still see the lights. After watching for 30 minutes we witnessed a bright light shoot vertically from in between 2 of the aircraft’s down toward the ground. The light disappeared & we had not heard a sound or any news reports. We watched them for a total of 3-4 hours before fall asleep. We assumed they remained in the sky.

I was at work, up on a extension ladder, assisting a co-worker, who was up on a steep roof painting a dormer. My job was just serve as a “weight” so he would not fall. At some point, I saw an object flying at high velocity, flying toward the northeast part of town. I told my co-worker about it, but he could not turn around on time, plus he thought I was messing with him. Then, I stopped seeing the object, mainly because my sight started seeing “dots” in sky! The one thing I am sure I saw, was an object flying very fast. It wasn’t a plane (it was too fast), I wasn’t a paper. It did look like that TicTac ufo that was reported by the Navy video that I saw on TV. Everything lasted less than 20 seconds.

We were outback celebrating and I notice some bright lights in the sky. I started recording because I didn’t think they were stars like most people thought. I usually look at the sky at night and never saw those before plus they were moving slowly across the sky. I counted at least 10 lights. 3 in the front in a somewhat line, 3 in the middle shaped like a triangle, 2 in the rear spaced apart a little further and 2 small one blinking over top.

Sitting outside after an event, I looked up and saw several lights , not blinking , not flying like any aircraft or drones. No sound. The lights were in a loose straight line formation, then the first 3 formed a tight triangle, followed by the next 2 sets of 3. Then they started to go loose straight again before I lost sight of them. Several witnesses, maybe one got video, I am not sure.

Saw this in the sky from my deck off of my kitchen. It was just shiny, so I snapped a pic and when I zoom in, it's not a plane.
