My partner and I were driving on the highway back from a trip to Switzerland; it was about 02:00 AM when we arrived at about 200 meters from the toll gate Porte-Lès-Valence direction south, I noticed 5 large yellow orange lights pulsing a few meters above the toll gate. As we approached I saw that these lights where positioned on a dark cigar like craft. Then after a few seconds, the craft gained altitude and disappeared into the clouds. I reported what I saw to my girlfriend sitting on the passenger seat, but she didn’t have enough time to see it before it disappeared. At this time the Highway was empty and I didn’t notice any other car around.
