Le 5 janvier 2015 à 19h41 un témoin observe le passage d'un phénomène unique, de couleur blanc, bleu, vert, très lumineux avec trainée. Comme le pressent le témoin, cette observation d'un point lumineux blanc-bleu-vert, suivi d'une traînée, parcourant rapidement une partie du ciel en quelques secondes a toutes les caractéristiques d'un bolide, c'est-à-dire le phénomène produit dans la haute atmosphère par la chute d'une météorite. Le réseau REFORME confirme cette hypothèse (voir document ci-joint). Le GEIPAN classe ce cas "A" : observation d'une rentrée atmosphérique de météoroïde. [GEIPAN classification A — Bolide]
