The report, as filed
Not a sighting but a hearing of very strange booming sounds near Geigertown, Pennsylvania, Berks County. Heard very strange thunderous noises inside the house but ignored them. About 30 minutes later or so heard them again and went outside to listen. They were a very rapid succession of booms accompanied by flashes of light. They seemed to be coming from up in the sky. They didn't have the sound of fireworks as the sounds were in very rapid succession and there were lots of them...maybe 50 or so in the ten minutes i heard them. It does sound like a battle of sorts is raging in the sky. This is the third time over the course of a year I've heard them in this area.
