The report, as filed
While driving I witnessed a bright light which I thought was possibly a star. As I drove closer I realized it was a hovering object over the trees. The object was black, approximately 50ft across with red lights toward each end and a white light in the center and was about 400ft in above the ground over the trees. The object stayed motionless as I drove past it. I’ve lived close to close to airports all my life and distinguish between various craft however this was unlike any craft I’ve ever seen. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides little contact information. PD
