Le témoin observe une boule orangé qu'il prend d'abord pour une planète, mais constate qu'elle bouge Il prend une vidéo puis voit l'objet disparaître en suivant une trajectoire verticale. L'observation de boule orange traversant le ciel en quelques minutes, une nuit de week-end, fait nettement penser à une lanterne thaï, probablement lâchée à proximité à l'issue d'une fête privée. Meteociel indique un petit vent de Sud Est compatible avec le déplacement constaté : météo. Les photos ne laissent aucun doute sur la nature de l'objet (P1050985 et surtout 86, les autres sont floues de mise au point ou de bougé). Mais le témoin réfute cette hypothèse.
