Le témoin ferme ses volets lorsqu'il observe dans le ciel 12 à 15 objets lumineux semblant voler silencieusement en formation. L'observation d'un groupe d'objets lumineux traversant le ciel en quelques minutes, une nuit de week-end, fait nettement penser à des lanternes thaïlandaises, probablement lâchées à proximité à l'issue d'une fête privée. Le déplacement est observé du Nord vers le Sud, ce qui est compatible avec le vent de Nord-Ouest à Nord relevé à Bordeaux : météo.
