My husband and I were looking at the stars, when all the sudden in the NW direction of the sky, we spotted this round object that was huge, much larger then an airplane and going much faster....it looked as though it was on fire or a burning object, it was a bright red-orange glow with black edges...it just kept going and going until it was out of sight headed North. We were both in shock, never have seen anything like this. We did not have a camera and didn't have time to get a pic, we were in such aahhh of it. It was like a huge fireball rushing through the sky. But it was HUGE and must have traveled hundreds a minute. It also seemed to appear out of no where, it was just there.. Then shot across the sky. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and she sounded to us to be both sincere, and sober-minded. PD

I witnessed four non flashing red lights, traveling in a line formation from north to south, not obscured by any clouds. The lights traveled at a constant rate of speed and as they approached my location suddenly disappeared. I took pictures, and the pictures reveal more lights than I visualized. One picture I took was a live capture, revealing erratic movement in multiple planes. There was no noise. I originally thought they were drones until they disappeared. The lights disappeared one by one as they reached the same location overhead. The final light was larger than the previous three lights. I am a physical therapist I was taking my dad home from Christmas Eve dinner. I am a non-drinker.

I went out on my patio and noticed lights above me in the sky. There were 7 bright lights in the form of a triangle. They were above my Oak Tree in height but the length, I couldn't tell because I saw nothing other than the lights but extended about 60 ft from the front one to the last set of two. They did not move. I watched for 1-2 minutes. I was alarmed and went inside to get someone to come out and see. Upon going back out, it was gone. Later on the news reported there were others that were spotted in other parts of Illinois and showed a drawing. I became very alarmed because it was exactly what I had seen. I know what I saw, so for those who don't believe I wish they would have experience what I did. Now I'm fearful that I was spotted by something and witness to it.

facing East I saw an large orange light (I thought it was medivac hel.) no sound. I called my sister to look out. phone 20:55 call lasted 1.5 min. a second orange light appeared out of the same direction heading West. When the first light was just above me it made a wide turn and headed North. 3 or 4 seconds later the second light turned North. the first light faded out and the second one did at the same distance. the light was the same brightness on approach as it was leaving. (the light was the thing, not like a spot light) NO SOUND. after a min. a plane came out of the North West and I could hear it, and see the wing, tail, and strobe light.

We were driving in a car when we saw two greenish yellow circle dots. They were next to each other and after about 30 seconds they faded away.

This happened in the Quad cites, Bettendorf, IA, one of the cities. While crossing the twin bridges from Ia to IL saw four orange lights flying over the top of my car this was not normal this I know. There where four lights flying at the same speed going from west to east the same way the Mississippi river runs here.
