The report, as filed
Approx. 5 am, I am leaving for work. Exceptionally clear sky and brilliant stars all week. Amazed to see a small single round cloud less than 1000' above my house, except it wasn't really a cloud, just cloud-like. I quickly scanned the entire visible sky and confirmed not another cloud marked the sky from horizon to horizon. As I stared at this "cloud", it dissipated before my eyes in about 5 seconds. I turned to retrieve something from my car and then returned my attention to the previous spot I'd been watching and was amazed to see another cloud in EXACTLY the same place except this time it was glowing orange. The glowing was coming from INSIDE the cloud! I live near BWI airport, directly in an approach route and have seen all types of aircraft come and go, jets and props, and have also seen the occasional spot lights scan the sky on cloudy or foggy nights. This was an anomaly and was not lighted from the ground nor was it any aircraft. Beyond that, I have absolutely no idea what I was looking at. Just to repeat, THERE WAS NOT ANOTHER SINGLE CLOUD in the sky, and it was, again, exceptionally clear. I then ran back inside my house, woke my girlfriend, and we both were back outside within 60 seconds but there was no sign, nor clouds, anywhere to be seen.

My brother and myself were outside with his 15x telescope trying to view the comet, after being outside for about 30-45 minutes looking at all the stars, constellations & planets, he brought to my attention what he perceived to be a UFO over Orion's belt. This was near an airport so we are very familiar with different types of aircrafts as we have seen a few different ones fly over us that night. We also saw a satellite fly through the sky so we are aware of the differences. It started over Orions Belt, it appeared to be 2 faint orange circles, not moving in sync with eachother but still being next to eachother, so it seemed to be 2 separate objects. We watched for about 10-15 seconds of them moving through the sky then suddenly vanish, not behind any trees and there were no clouds in the sky that night. It was unlike any other celestial object or aircraft we've ever seen, it also made absolutely zero noise. It was almost like seeing a very distant glow of yellow/orange headlights with the circular shape, again not moving at the same speed, one kind of trailing behind the other, slowing and speeding up at different intervals so it must have been 2 separate objects.

At approximately 23:15, I was outside smoking a cigarette and looking up at the night sky, like I usually do. I noticed a white orb shoot from a star which was on the handle of the Big Dipper. The object was doing zig zag maneuvers, too fast for any known aircraft we the public have knowledge about. This white orb continually did the same maneuvers in the same area for approximately 3 minutes. A passenger airline was flying by when all of a sudden, the Orb seemed to warp towards the plane and disappeared. I've never witnessed any known craft to do such maneuvers. This is not the only UFO I've seen, but sure is one of the creepiest.

At 3:43pm on 1/5/2015 in Glen Burnie, Maryland, United States, I saw a long silver object. I was looking out my open window towards the east. It appeared to be very very high in the sky it was long and silver bright and moved at a steady rate toward what looked to be SE. It was very very clear sky's and not a cloud in site with very bright blue sky's. It appeared as if the sun from the west was shining very bright on the object. This is a pretty windy day so it could just be a silver balloon. The object did not turn or shift it just seemed to dissolve. I live with in about a few miles of a airport and have planes and other aircraft fly directly over my house, so close I can read and see which airline the plane is from. I have lived here my entire life, im 26 years old so I know aircraft very well and their paths of flight. This object made no noise at all. Whenever I see a very high up plane that flies by and the sound does not hit my ears till later due to ai! rcraft speed and hight the object I saw had no sound ever. I hope this report helps someone confirm their sighting if they saw the same object. Thanks for letting me share my sighting. If the owners of this site need more info just let me know. Thanks. While near BWI Airport some friends and saw what appeared to be a fire in the sky. slowly rising and swinging left and right. If i had to guess I'd say it was a hot air balloon? But its close proximity to BWI air traffic should rule that out? What looked like fire would glow bright dime and then vanish as the object just hovered in the night sky. Did any others see this?

My fiancé and I were watching fireworks off of the dock on Nabbs Creek in Glen Burnie, Maryland when we saw an orange light in the sky it was a circular light and it moved from one side of the sky to the other. It did not blink or have any additional lights on it.
