Le témoin observe et photographie deux lumières orange dans le ciel, statiques et paraissant très lointaines. Les objets disparaissent pourtant au bout de quelques minutes. L'observation de deux lumières oranges dans le ciel en quelques minutes, une nuit de week-end, fait nettement penser à des lanternes thaï, probablement lâchées à proximité à l'issue d'une fête privée. Les lumières, observées vers le Sud-Est semblaient immobile, ce qui est compatible avec le vent quasi nul, variable, relevé à Albi : météo.
