The report, as filed
Le témoin vers minuit voit deux objets dans le ciel de couleur orangé vif, se déplaçant lentement et sans bruit. Elle réveille alors son compagnon. Les objets disparaissent et sont remplacés par trois autres qui passent devant la Lune. L'observation d'une succession d'objets circulaires orange vif à jaune traversant le ciel en quelques minutes, une veille de fête, fait nettement penser à des lanternes thaïlandaises, probablement lâchées à proximité et à l'issue d'une fête privée. Le déplacement est observé vers l'Est, conforme au vent relevé à Bergerac : faible, de secteur Sud-ouest (voir météociel). Le GEIPAN classe ce cas B : observation probable de lanternes thaïlandaises.
