i was facing southeast when I saw what I believe was to be a star I watched it flash and it caught my attention I then watched it flash twice more and then completely disappear from sight with no movement. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Bright object projecting a ring of light behind it was observed by my wife and I while sitting on the back deck behind our house. The ring and light appeared to move in unison slowly form west to east, and looked like one bright light while dropping over the eastern horizon.
