L'observation de deux boules jaune-oranges durant quelques minutes, une nuit de week end ( à 22h45) , fait nettement penser à des lanternes thaï, probablement lâchées à proximité à l'issue d'une fête privée. Le déplacement observé est très faible (témoins en voiture, venant du Sud), ce qui est compatible avec le faible vent de Sud relevé à Montauban : météo. Le GEIPAN classe ce cas "B" observation probable de lanterne thaï. A la même heure, une observation semblable a eu lieu à BRUGUIERES (31). Il peut s'agir de la même origine.
