The report, as filed
My friend and I who live in Buffalo, NY, drove out to North Tonawanda on July 4th to stroll around the Gateway Harbor and view the fireworks. While we were waiting on the bridge for the fireworks to begin there were a number of individual fireworks being set off by various people. As we watched the sky we noticed distinct red circles coming from two separate areas one after another. One in particular turned very black against the night sky hovered for almost a minute and then vanished in front of our eyes. All of the others were red and glowing. They seemed to have a slight aura as they passed overhead. One stream of objects were coming from the north and the other were coming from the southwest. Although they were coming from different directions they were going towards the southeast. They passed over us before and during the firework display. Other people were commenting on them too. We have no explanation for them, they were silent, and there were several planes in the air that must have seen them.

While observing the ISS passing overhead, I saw a star-like object travelling parallel to, and just north of the ISS. It was perhaps 5 degrees north of the ISS, and "pacing" it in the sky. It was pulsating in light intensity, about 6 times in the 40 seconds of observation. It's speed was about double that of the ISS. It went out of view in the northeast, as did the ISS.

A fairly large aircraft was sighted flying above North Tonawanda. At first it had the appearance of several shooting stars. However, they where going the wrong direction. After watching it for a few moments it became clear that the light where attached to a fairly large aircraft that did not look like a airplane. In fact, it seemed 5 times larger than any typical airplane. The aircraft seemed to of had a elongated oval shape to it when the dark areas became more visible from the moonlight. It appeared to have three white lights to the rear when fairly even spacing in between. The brighter lights had a hazy streak of dimmer light going from the rear towards the front.

Called Buffalo hot line and told my story to reporter. Also called 914th air gaurd and told them. Had to be tracked on radar and other people must have seen it on a clear starrie night. FAB.

Looking into night sky to the north over where the falls would be is a craft illuminating red/blue/green lights alternating colors at a high rate of speed. Craft is still at time being with multiple planes flying under the craft. This has been on going for weeks and moves from Lake Erie down Tonawanda creek and ends up in middleport by dawn the next morning. There was a bright white light when viewing this light at 20x zoom it had a white light, red light and green light on. It moved in a circular motion and was lower then the stars. It was an intense light that shot a bright white discharge that faded after 200 feet. This happened three times. After tracking this object for more then 3 years, I have never seen it do this before its always flickering red, green and blue. As of 10/10 its no longer to be found in the sky.

Saw what appeared as a red light in the northern sky, travelling south east. It stopped and started periodically. It stopped in the northeastern sky and as I focused on it I realized there were three lights tightly grouped in a triangle shape. The lights pulsed but did not blink. I know called into the house for my family to come out to see this, as I called the lights seemed to fade quickly and just disappeared.
