What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

I saw an object mid-way about 45 degrees in the sky north of my house, guessing 10 plus miles north. It had a distinct red burning glow to it. I grabbed my binoculars because it was so peculiar. The object cleared up and the colors I saw were red and green like Christmas tones in shapes next to or on a round white light. It didn’t move so I walked inside. As I walked past a window, I saw not only had it moved, it was continuing to move swiftly from North to South/SE. I quickly walked back out and it was already flying over my neighbor’s tree, out of sight. I would say that was about 15-20 miles in a few seconds (6-10?), and the object was high up in the sky. I had hight power binoculars but it still didn’t seem close or clearer than vague shapes with color.

Facing West. Line of objects, approx. 30 sec spacing emerging from the left of Venus (SSW) mving at rapid speed to the NNE. Appeared to be a bright satélite. As time progresses brightness diminished (gaveling the impression that objects were successively higher in the atmosphere. All objects were individuals (along a line) except (among the last 3rd of the lot) 2 flew side by side (with decent separation). And, four objects later two flew at a slight diagonal to each other. In the case of the two pairs the eastern most object stayed on the same track/path as the rest of the procession. There was no flashing lights typical, of aircraft or any follow up jet exhaust noise

I was driving on highway 1 and just when i looked up i saw a dome shaped cylinder soaring super fast through the sky but slow enough for me to get a good look, it was much faster than anything we’ve ever build fast than a jet and much faster than any plane

Clear night sky on the beach at Cambria, California. The unknown craft flew north to south, low over the ocean, close to the beach. It had NO sound and had dull orange glowing tips on its "wings," which appeared to be 12+ feet apart. Moved very quickly, faster than a drone. Lights on the wings did not flash. Two observers. Unable to identify.

My husband and I were driving north on Windsor Blvd. in Cambria. We noticed a substantial, bright, white light hanging above the horizon/ocean. We commented that the light had a shimmer or 'twinkle' that reminded us of starlight. However, it was too low to be a star. We continued to drive and our view was interrupted for approximately 2 minutes by buildings. We drove on to Moonstone Drive, which is a beachfront drive with clear view of ocean. We, again, saw this light hanging in same position as before. Our view was much better and clearer. We could see that the light was unique with hints of color and almost as if it had movement within it-much like a plasma effect. As we watched, it began to drop down, towards ocean and as it went below horizon line, there was a faint glow that lit the sky. I would compare the glow to that which lights up the sky at night from a town that is, say, behind a hill. The glow lasted for about three minutes and then the sky went dark, as normal.
