Le 1er janvier 2014 à 0h15 plusieurs personnes sont intriguées par les déplacements silencieux d'une lumière dans le ciel. Une photographie est prise. L'observation d'une lumière rouge-orangé se déplaçant lentement une nuit de fête évoque une lanterne thaïlandaise. Meteociel uindique unl éger vent de sud :météo pas incompatible avec le déplacement Sud-Ouest vers Nord est indiqué par le témoin. La photo fournie, très agrandie, et probablement sujette à un flou de bougé, est cohérente avec cette hypothèse. Le GEIPAN classe ce cas "B" : observation probable de lanterne thaïlandaise.
