Le 22 octobre 2013 à 22h40, un témoin regardant le ciel dégagé est intrigué par le passage S-N d'un objet sombre en forme de demi-coupole avec des excroissances pendantes. L'observation très courte (moins de 10 secondes) ne permet pas au témoin de prendre une photographie. L'objet silencieux disparait dans le noir du ciel nocturne. Selon les éléments collectés par le questionnaire et l’entretien avec le témoin, le GEIPAN classe ce cas « B » comme étant probablement un ballon festif gonflé à l’hélium, de type « coccinelle », qui aurait échappé à son propriétaire.
