Le 02 Aout 2013 à 23h08, un témoin et sa femme, qui roulent en voiture (voir carte), observent dans le ciel dégagé, quatre points lumineux rouge-orange, qui finissent par s'éteindre les uns derrière les autres. Le relevé Meteociel indique un léger vent d'ouest météo. L'observation de points lumineux dans le ciel durant quelques minutes un samedi soir évoque nettement des lanternes thaïlandaises. Etant donné la configuration des lieux, les objets s'éloignaient lentement des témoins vers l'Est. Le GEIPAN classe ce cas "B" : observation probable de lanternes thaïlandaises.
