I'm Siro Saracino, professor of piano in Italy and owner of some properties in US. I was on my property in Dateland with a friend when it was 9:32 pm. We had seen light up like a very strong oval light in the sky, on the horizon above Dateland, to the west, in Yuma direction. Shortly after, another light comes on, always oval and then gradually others, up to 7 objects. While the others lit up, the previous ones turned off and others lit up at various points and directions. Some were in pairs and some were single, and one of them moved quickly from right to left. The color of lights was orange, like a fire and they were very bright. Lights left no trails. Everything lasted more than half an hour and I was able to take lots of photos and lots of videos.

Approximately at 0230 just east of Dateland, AZ, there was a flash of white light that lit up the entire desert as if in broad daylight. My wife and I saw what appeared to be a cone shaped object in a hover off to the north of us probably a couple feet off the ground, it then disappeared as fast as we saw it and another flash happened about thirty seconds later over some hills further northwest probably 12-15 miles away. As an aircraft maintainer in the armed forces, I knew this wasn't anything in our military's catalog of war machines. My wife and I decided to pull off to get gas and get a better look in Tacna, AZ, about 10 minutes after the initial flashes. All the drive to said gas station we continued seeing this object come closer to the highway then move rapidly away. At the gas station we noticed a weird hazy glow coming off of the object, which was still cone shaped with a green light vertically and white lights on the bottom. As we were watching, about five other objects appeared as well all in an odd pattern in the Big Dipper constellation.

Friday, ((sic. Thursday)) feb 5th, 2015, 8:15 pm, on interstate 8 between Gila Bend and Yuma Driving west on I-8 toward Yuma. Me and my Partner saw three glowing orbs about 5 miles south of us at aprox. 100 meters up. They hovered for about 5 mins, then quickly shot downwards and exploded into a cone of yellow light. No sound was heard, and no debris or dust was observed. this then repeated two more times with the three orbs appearing then shooting down and exploding. we were taken aback and thought maby they could have been some kind of munition and then things got stranger still. right after this sequence we saw two orbs appear static in the air at about 1000 meters. then two more equidistant forming a square . no movement just stayed put. then four more appeared forming another perfect square for a total of 8. we pulled off the road at exit 85 to watch what was going on. three planes flew into the airspace just going around and around the lights. they were orange/amber orbs almost translucent. they stayed in formation about 20 mins the disappeared.

Hovering Light Formation in Southwest Arizona in March 1997
