What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

I have seen the Myrtle Beach UFO "orbs" a few times the last five or so years. This time I was at Belin Church in Murrells Inlet and noticed the orbs off in the distance over the Garden City Beach ocean. I decided to drive south to N. Litchfield Beach access thinking I could get closer. as soon as I arrived I noticed the orbs now much closer over the ocean. The orbs appeared several times over the next 20 min or so but the duration was only a few seconds of lights (under 10 seconds each time) I was unable to get any video because of the short time frame. I noticed no aircraft or lights in the area except one aircraft in the distance that looked to be perhaps landing at Myrtle Beach but was many miles from my location and the orbs. This is about the 5th or 6th time I have seen these and I am now always looking up so I hope to get some video in the future.

We were sitting outside Looking out on beach horizon at 9 pm and initially we noticed two glowing orange balls in the sky. They glowed and then like a light went out. The next time another orange glow appeared over to the right of the horizon, still over the ocean. It too glowed for five seconds and went out. About ten minutes later, to the left of the ocean horizon, another blinked on that orange glow and then subsequently went off. After that point, about 10 minutes later right in front of the beach house, another orange glow appeared and then turned off. Here is where all 7 of our mouths fell open. Back to the the left of the ocean horizon six orange glows appeared in a diagonal line. Each came on separately stayed lit and then one by one it turned each orange glow off. It was truly the most unbelievable event I have ever seen. One last glow was seen again directly in front of the beach house. We suspect the correct date is July 14, not June 14, and we have changed the date above. We are awaiting confirmation on the date from the source. PD

Evening of June 26, 2014, when we walked onto the beach at 10:15pm, saw orange lights already there hovering in the sky over the ocean: two sets of three lights lined up close together in a small row, and then one off to the left by itself. Very quiet. The one on the left seemed to sweep off to the left and disappear. The other two just blinked off. As we continued to watch, the lights blinked off and on periodically, one light - not the row of three again. We watched movement of other white lights around this area. Seemed very active, so fast it was sometimes hard to focus in. Movement and directional shift faster than anything I've ever seen. Sometimes almost too fast to see. Sometimes a larger single flash of light, sometimes smaller ones grouped together. At one point,we saw a pale chain of white lights move quickly in sync like a necklace. In the end, saw two large white lights, one over the other, separated by a large space move slowly upward in the sk! y over our heads. The lights were too far apart to be a plane-very far apart. It seemed like they might be connected. There were several of us on the beach together watching over the course of an hour. One said they'd been watching this for three nights and got some of the lights on video.

Saw two horizontal formations of 5 glowing red/orange lights. They were side by side over the ocean, but not completely parallel. The appeared to be hovering approximately 1000 feet above the water. Distance appeared to be 1/4 to 1/2 mile out. The two formations strobed and faded out. Within 30 seconds two single red/orange lights appeared and danced in a similar fashion and faded out.
