Un témoin rapporte une observation faite en famille le 26 février 2011 vers 21h45 : tous observent le déplacement d'une boule lumineuse de couleur orange avec changement brusque de direction et disparition dans une trajectoire ascensionnelle et à une vitesse "fulgurante". Cette observation présente un faible degré d’étrangeté dans la mesure où une forte proportion de caractéristiques décrites correspondent à celles de phénomènes connus très souvent observés et rapportés au GEIPAN : observation d’une lanterne volante lumineuse (voir le compte rendu d'enquête).
