Was outside to watch firworks on New Year's and looking towards the west starting at 0:04 and lasting until 0:10 observed a string of orange lights or gloves coming from the west towards the east at a slow rate. The first was about 3 in a group, no real formation, and as they got closer you could see several more in the distance approaching. They were separated by about 1/10th of a mile between groups. Some had two and some had three in a group. They seemed to be at an altitude lower than a normal aircraft for this area, but higher than the normal flight of a helicopter. You could not hear any sound from them, (yes there were fireworks going off but during the quiet pause times no sound from the craft). I had my Sony handycam and was trying to video them with normal and nightshot but could see no details. Have some video but do not know what you will be able to tell other than their slow movement. I am 65 years old and a former Police Officer, an avid skywatcher, and amateur astronomer. Yes it's New Year's Eve but I only had one drink earlier in the evening. By the approximate distance I believe they were from me and the estimated altitude, the lights or orbs would be estimated at about 4 to eight feet in diameter if you were next to them.

I seen a large craft hovering still about 1ꯠ feet away with 3 lights in the form of a wide obtuse triangle.
