Le 27 septembre 2009 vers 23h05, un témoin observe durant 2 mn dans le ciel le déplacement de trois points lumineux légèrement orangés formant un triangle. Un des points lumineux se divise en deux, le témoin observe alors deux phénomènes. L'ensemble disparait silencieusement en direction de la forêt de Saint Germain en Laye. Le témoignage est trop succinct pour qu'une enquête soit menée : le témoin rappelé 18 mois après l'observation ne souhaite pas donner plus de renseignements.
