Le 15 aout 2009 à 22h un témoin observe durant environ 40 secondes le déplacement d'un phénomène lumineux. Il était de couleur vert luminescent et de forme longiligne. Aucun bruit n'a été entendu. Le témoin a observé une rentrée atmosphérique d'une météorite : la couleur verte vient de la ionisation dans la haute atmosphère. Cette météorite a été observée de Bâle en Suisse jusqu'à l'extrème sud de la Grande Bretagne. [GEIPAN classification A — Météoride]
