Vers 19h dans la soirée du 3 ou 4 juin 2009 (le témoin ne se souvient pas de la date exacte) un amateur de photographie prend un cliché du ciel où l'on peut voir la Lune et une trainée blanche d'un avion. En visionnant son cliché deux jours plus tard il remarque quelque chose d'insolite sur la photographie sans l'avoir vu lors de la prise de vue. Cette personne a photographié un avion de ligne se déplaçant d'où l'impression de "barres parrallèles" décrites par le témoin. En comparaison, les trainées des réacteurs sont des objets qui paraissent immobiles. [GEIPAN classification A — Avion]
