Ask for the records
What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

They were silver, round and were traveling in and out of sinc, disappearing then reappearing. Then they disappeared again for good but I noticed a single larger one. Then it also disappeared as well.

While driving on I-210 from Pasadena, CA, to Arcadia, CA, I witnessed a white star-like object (in size, brightness, and color) drop in a straight line from an apparent high altitude to almost ground level. I say “almost” because it was dark out, and I could not clearly discern distance to the object, or where the ground would be. I did not detect an impact. I felt that the object was at least 10 to 15 miles away, in other words, quite a ways away. However, I cannot rule out that it was quite close. The object did not change color or shape, nor did it have a tail. I immediately thought it might be a meteor, which is entirely possible, but it did not look like the many other meteors I have seen. It was more reminiscent of a bright satellite. I saw something extremely similar on 5 January 2007 in Huntsville, AL.

While driving North on Santa Anita Ave at around 6:16 we watch two white lights fall straight down from the sky. One on top of the other a minute apart. Very bright in the early night sky. Me and my wife both saw this and could not beleive our eyes. We are in the San Gabriel Valley and this happened heading north toward the mountains of San Madre. I don't believe that they were falling stars or flares. They came down way slower than a shooting star, and was not helicopters. Source of report corrected the date during a telephone conversation. I checked YouTube and other websites and nobody posted anything. They were there and traveling fast. They weren't jets, there wasn't a white smoke line being left behind like jets leave. Weird but true.. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
