I went out to let the dog out and it is a super crisp, clear evening and the stars are very bright. I looked up and saw Orion's belt and noticed two stars to the left(which would be north from where I was standing, so I was facing east and could see Orion mid lower in the eastern sky. I noticed these stars and thought, how have I never seen these before. They were as bright as the main stars in the rest of the constellation, and I have looked at the night sky my entire life and have never seen them, so I was staring at them trying to figure this out.They seemed to be moving, but not left to right, it was as if they were moving maybe a millimeter to the right toward the belt, but the movement was so slight it was as if they were flying away from earth. Both lights/starts/ufos were moving at the same rate and their light dimmed at the same time. They were super bright and then over maybe a minute they got dimmer and dimmer and then disappeared, however they were the same brightness as the stars when I initially noticed them. If they were some sort of ship, they would have been flying at the same pace/ distance from earth and in the same direction --completely in tandem. The light was bright white light, no other colors.Their distance from each other was a few inches in terms of my view the sky(so like if I held my hand one foot from my face and held my fingers and inch apart), so farther than the three stars in the belt, but not as far as from the belt to the other stars in the constellation.

The object was mostly a deep blue color with bright orange and yellow around the trailing edge. It moved in an arc down towards the ground. It appeared to have gone down somewhere on Hwy 316 estimating from my house. There was no sound. The sphere was the size of a full moon but in closer proximity.
