Le 8 mai 2009, le GEIPAN reçoit un mail laconique au sujet d’une observation survenue dans la nuit du lundi 5 au mardi 6 mai 2008 entre 3 et 4 heures du matin. Aucun autre détail ne sera transmis. Le témoignage direct contient trop peu de détails pour faire une analyse correcte. Jupiter est présente au Sud Est (azimut 128 et 3°48" d’élévation) et pourrait être source de confusion d’autant que le témoin ne la mentionne pas.
