There were five lights high above the Pacific not moving. One had rotating lights. Seemed too high in the air to be drones.

I was driving, headed from the I-405 towards Ocean Ave on Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica, CA around 4:00pm. It was a bright sunny afternoon with no clouds in the sky, and suddenly in front of my car maybe 50 ft above the tree line I saw a perfectly spherical orb hovering. It was almost black against the sky, but had a slight metallic sheen to the surface. It was hard to tell whether or not it was moving, but it appeared to be hovering at a fixed altitude as I was driving. It quickly passed out of my view as I was realizing what I was looking at, and when I looked behind me expecting to see it in my rear view as I kept going, it was gone. I didn't see it again.

In Santa Monica, California, on the afternoon of February 13, 2023 I noticed a very bright orange glowing football shaped object through my window hovering across the street against the background of a large tree with a lot of foliage. It was about 12 -15 feet below the tree top. It seemed to simply appear. I could not figure out what it was so I kept staring at it for a minute or two. Then it flew directly in a straight line toward my window and me. It was low and passed over my apartment. I wanted to go out and watch it but knew the view would be obscured. There were no lights on it and no means of propulsion. It was not a balloon. It only occurred to me that it might have been a UFO afterwards. I had no thought of taking a photo of it while it was happening. I did not expect it to move from where I first saw it. I called the non emergency police department phone line on Thursday, Feb. 16, curious if anyone else reported it, but no one did.

I woke up at 4:30 and was drawn to my balcony. I looked at the night sky and saw the object. I stared at it for a while trying to figure out what it was. I finally grabbed my phone and took photos and videos of it. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was hovering for a long time. It was spinning and the lights kept changing. The lights were unusual and would burst occasionally. The camera movements are mine as I was trying to hold still to capture the object best I could. I finally went back to bed even though it was still there. One of the photos is time lapse.

This Is the second time seen this particular object. Have Amazon parrot had him outside he was the 1 that alerted me to this he was looking upwards made weird noise happen to look up and saw it again crossed shaped object flying low probably less than 200 feet up in the air white color noiseless not a bird or drone let alone a toy plane flying pretty fast going east towards Los Angeles less than 5 seconds sighting. I consider myself a semi expert on aircraft specially military . Size of this object small I would say around 4~5 feet long I would estimate.. first time saw it like a month ago around same time this time going west towards the ocean against the wind. Am totally baffled by this
