Le 24 janvier 2008 à 1h15 du matin, un témoin observe à haute altitude une lumière blanche qui décrit dans le ciel dégagé deux cercles puis disparait. Durant l'observation un fort bruit de grondement est entendu. La description faite par le témoin évoque bien sûr un avion. Le déplacement du point lumineux est toutefois surprenant. Mais le témoin est au bord d'une zone d'entrainement aérien militaire (voir carte ci jointe, extraite de la "carte du réseau très basse altitude défense" RTBA) : un avion militaire peut tout à fait avoir ce comportement en manœuvre. Ce cas est classé "B" : probable observation d'avion militaire en manœuvre. [GEIPAN classification B — Phénomène identifié non indiqué]
