I toke my dog out and noticed a light blue light flickering. At first I thought it was a plane until I noticed its flight characteristics. It stopped in mid air and shot to the left at a high speed and came to a complete stand still. After watching it drift upwards it shot downwards and made a sharp right turn and came to a complete stop again. Realizing this was a ufo I ran in the house with my dog to get my phone to record it. When returning outside it was completely gone.I have been looking in that direction every night since them and nothing! N ow when I take the dog out I bring my phone..

Oval shaped fireball object with no visible "tail" traveling eastbound over islip. Looked like a plane on fire, then disappeared in about 1 minute. No bright flashes or blinking lights. Observed through sun-roof while driving on Sunrise hwy Saturday night. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides little contact information. PD

At almost 5 or 10 minute intervals, first one fire ball moving from west to east along the south shore of Long Island. Burnt orange in color, cruising at a low altitude with absolutely no noise. Then the second, then 2 together, then the 5th and then the 6th at about 10:30 p.m. Shortly after each passed us, the light flickered as if it was going through a cloud, and then went out completely - but there are no clouds in the sky this evening, and the stars are clearly visible. Each of the 6 did this. We looked at the last one through binoculars, and the orange lights seemed to be in a honeycomb hexagonal pattern. One military jet flew from east to west and veered south between the 4th and 5th sighting. My friend took a video with her phone.
