En 2005 (le témoin ne se souvient pas de la date exacte) vers 22h un étudiant s'apprête à fermer le Vélux de sa chambre lorsqu'il est surpris de voir passer à grande vitesse un objet lumineux dans le ciel dégagé. Sa trajectoire est N-O S-E. De forme sphérique et légèrement jaunâtre, cet objet semble être à 3000m d'altitude, aucun bruit n'est entendu. Il semble pris dans un halo. L'observation durera moins de 3 secondes. La description de l'objet peut faire penser à une probable rentrée atmosphérique mais nous manquons d'informations sur le phénomène observé.
