A plume of light was seen that was a yellowish/orange colour. It vanished after a few seconds. Just said that it was a sighting. Strange lights were seen in the sky. Said it looked like a parachute flare. Said it looked like a parachute flare. Sighting seen sometime in 2005, in Southwick. Just said something was seen in the sky. (Was seen sometime in February 2005). The witness said it was like a big shooting star, amazing, but then said it was going too fast to be one. [reporter: Coastguard]
