Un témoin apporte aux gendarmes le 29 septembre 2005, des photos de coucher de soleil prises le 23 juin 2005 sur une plage de l'île de Noirmoutier. Sur l'une d'entre elle, on remarque un phénomène lumineux. Les photographies ont été prises sur un axe NO-Ouest. Aucune description par le témoin n'accompagne cette déposition.
